United Methodist Communities Recognized in 2021 National Mature Media Awards Program
United Methodist Communities (UMC), a New Jersey based senior living provider, was a winner in the 30th annual National Mature Media Awards Program. The program, presented by the Mature Market Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for the senior market, recognizes the nation’s finest marketing, communications, educational materials, and promotional programs designed and produced for an audience of older adults.
This year’s awards evaluated submissions that were created and distributed during the 2020 calendar year. Three of UMC’s pieces were judged worthy of recognition:
United in Philanthropy: Finding Unity Through Community (Summer 2020) earned a Gold Award for the Newsletter/Newspaper Category, Housing Division. All issues of United in Philanthropy are produced by the United Methodist Communities Foundation, in conjunction with the Foundation’s strategic partner, Masterpiece Marketing (Lancaster, PA).
20 Reasons to Love United Methodist Communities, UMC’s 2020 Annual Report, received a Bronze Award in the Annual Report Category, Housing Division. Those involved with the production and design of the piece include the UMC marketing and communications team and printing and design partner Regina Printing (Middlesex, NJ).
United Methodist Communities’ HomeWorks’ HomeFront: 2020 Gratitude Edition, garnered a Merit Award, also in the Newsletter/Newspaper Category, Housing Division. UMC produces HomeFront for homecare clients and caregivers in conjunction with creative partner The Kiva Group (Westville, NJ).
“We’re so pleased to take part in the Mature Media Awards each year,” shares Roberta Voloshin, VP of Marketing and Communications. “Many of the pieces we produced during the 2021 eligibility window focused on communicating not only the struggles and challenges our senior residents, clients, and associates have faced over the past year, but also the unexpected silver linings and outpouring of support our communities have experienced. United Methodist Communities was very honored to have three such publications recognized by the panel.”
All entries were judged by a distinguished panel of mature market experts from across the United States, with emphasis on overall excellence of design, content, creativity, and relevance to the senior market.
