Assisted Living in New Jersey

Assisted Living services found at the United Methodist Communities in NJ are unique both for range of support they offer, and the quality of care systems we employ. Our campuses are beautifully appointed, with a staff that is hired for their compassion, as well as their training and education.

As the name implies, an assisted living community helps its residents with the activities of daily living and medical care support in a comfortable and private residential setting. Residents can opt for three meals a day and take advantage of many recreational and social opportunities, housekeeping services, apartment maintenance and transportation.

United Methodist Communities’ assisted living is apartment or condo style living. The overall assisted living experience allows individuals more options to rediscover their interests and confidently do more of the things they’ve always wanted to in an environment that enhances their security, dignity, and independence.

Assisted Living With Aging In Place

United Methodist Communities unique assisted living model reflects our approach to aging in place. Once a senior becomes a resident in one of our four full-service communities, we do everything to ensure that they can remain in an apartment for as long as possible. To support this as cost effectively as possible we offer six different levels of assisted living, with many special customizations possible within those levels.

At United Methodist Communities the focus is always on the resident. Our priority is always:

  • Getting to know you and who you are
  • Getting to know your likes and dislikes
  • Understanding the life you want for yourself or your loved one
  • Making a truly custom life plan that puts your dreams within reach

To achieve this, United Methodist Communities offers a wide variety of assisted living services and options which include:

  • Housekeeping and handyman services
  • Medication assistance
  • Health monitoring
  • Reminders for all activities of daily living
  • Assistance with personal care and hygiene
  • General concierge type services, and more

The United Methodist Communities Assisted Living Difference

You have many choices when it comes to assisted living.  Much of your decision about where you or your loved one will reside, comes down to location. But with all other things being equal, the single most important part of your decision will be how the facility looks, smells, and how the staff make you feel when you are there.

Your visit is crucial to understanding the intangibles of assisted living that no website can communicate.  We sincerely believe that when you experience the setting and level of commitment and kindness that exists at any of our United Methodist Communities you will not want to trust anyone else with your care or the care of a loved one.
