Pam Garofolo Honored with LeadingAge Leadership Award
UMC Corporate Director of Tapestries, Pamela Garofolo has been honored with the prestigious LeadingAge Leadership Award, recognizing her 15 years of transformative impact within UMC and the broader community. With a steadfast commitment to resident-centered care, Pam has revolutionized dementia care practices, setting new standards in the industry.
Pam also actively engages in community outreach, advocating for dementia awareness and education. She has presented at several LeadingAge conferences and engages with LeadingAge’s dementia care experts to develop best practices. As a founding creator of UMC University and a passionate advocate for teammate development, Pam has nurtured a culture of leadership and growth within UMC. Her initiatives have not only elevated the organization but have also empowered individuals to reach their full potential. Pam‘s dedication to challenging the status quo and fostering innovation has resulted in tangible improvements in resident quality of life and team dynamics.
