Leadership Team

Reverend Richard Leaver — Director of Mission and Pastoral Care

Richard graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, earned his Masters of Divinity from Palmer Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Divinity from Drew School of Theology. He has 28 years of experience as an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church after 20 years in private industry. Richard is a Certified Spiritual Director, Board Certified Pastoral Counselor and is Grief Care Certified. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the International Society of Pastoral Counselors. Richard especially enjoys speaking and counseling residents and staff, leading Bible studies and preaching.

Richard is an amateur DJ and loves spinning music from the 20s until today. He has played for youth groups, senior dances and other types of crowds. He and his wife, Beth, love to travel. They share their home with niece Stacey, nephew TJ and grandnephew Jacob.


Karen Noone — Physical Therapist

CM Karen Noone

Karen worked as a physical therapist for two years in an acute care hospital and two years in a senior community before coming to Collingswood Manor seven years ago. She earned her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and received a Certificate of Applied Holistic Medicine from Harcum College. Karen thrives under the team approach to resident care at Collingswood Manor.

In her spare time Karen enjoys running, reading and Tai Chi. She is married and has two children.


Carol Johnson — Staff Development Coordinator

Carol graduated from the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in 1974. She has held various positions in senior care and rehab communities for the past 32 years including Infection Control, Charge Nurse, Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing and finally, Staff Development Coordinator, the position she hold at Collingswood today. Her job gives her the opportunity to educate staff to become more confident and proficient and improve the quality of life for residents.


Karen Viola, RN — Director of Wellness

Karen holds a degree in Applied Science of Nursing and is a Registered Professional Nurse with 30 years of experience. She has 23 years of experience in geriatric care and 18 years in supervisory and management roles. Karen’s certifications include Certified Assistant Living Nurse in NJ, CPR/AED and Medication Technician Instructor. When asked what she loves about her job her response will be “caring for the health of others”. 

Karen’s husband of 27 years is her best friend. They have two sons; one in college studying international business (and is the track captain) and the other graduated in 2008 with a degree in graphic design. Her hobbies include gardening, shelling, traveling, dancing and walking on the beach.


Mary Moloney — Volunteer Coordinator

Mary received her Bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University in Philadelphia. She was a pharmacy manager for 4 years before joining the staff, first as part of the activity staff and now as the volunteer coordinator.

Mary is married and has three sons. In her spare time she enjoys exercise, reading, cooking, hiking and movies.


Sharon Krenski — Employee Services Director

Sharon is a graduate of George Washington High School and holds a Certified Assisted Living Administrator license. Before coming to Collingswood Manor she worked in the business office of the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.

Sharon has been married for 38 years, has three daughters and three grandchildren. Her hobbies include cooking, baking bread, reading “good” mystery books and taking nature walks.


Ann Peters — Social Worker, Assisted Living

Ann earned a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Social Work from West Chester University. Past jobs included adjunct professor at Burlington County College,director of social services and skilled nursing admissions coordinator in aCCRC, per diem homecare social worker, and researcher.Ann, who is LSW certified (Licensed Social Worker), most likes getting to know the Collingswood Manor residents.

With her family, Ann likes hikingon wooded trailsanywhere. In fact, before the children could even walk, they were carried along in hiking backpacks. The children’s sports activities, which are fun for everyone, keep her and her husband very busy.

For a personal challenge, Ann practices hot Vinyasa flow yoga with a studio temperature of close to 100 degrees! She also enjoys movies, reading, and spending time with her family, including the dog, Luigi!


Lynda Hamrick — Community Life Director

Community Life Director, Lynda Hamrick, holds a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Springfield College. Of her 26 years’ experience in long term care and assisted living, 23 have been at Collingswood Manor.

Passion forms one of the many reasons for this longevity. Lynda reflects, “I love the variety of the job and the wonderful stories the residents share, as well as bringing joy and pleasure into their lives.”

The Hamrick family relishes spending time outdoors. Their hobbies include hiking, camping, going to the beach, traveling, cooking, and reading. All three children compete in sports and Lynda enjoys watching these games.


Mia Dempsey-Stahl — Administrator

CM Mia Stahl

Mia graduated from LaSalle University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and earned her Master of Arts in Human Services Psychology with a minor in Family and Marriage Therapy. She began her career as a mental health professional providing counseling services and transitioned into social work in hospice and long term care.

Eventually, she chose administration as a career goal and has worked in that capacity for the past 14 years. Volunteering and working in the nursing home where her mother was a CNA for almost 20 years, shaped her commitment to elders in long term care.Mia is a member of American Health Care Association and Pennsylvania Association of Non-Profit Homes for the Aging

She reflects, “It is the residents, families and associates that inspire me to come to work every day. They help make me a better person.”

Outside of Collingswood Manor, Mia, a Master Gardner,loves to create new gardens, as well as expand and reconfigure her home vegetable garden and landscape. She and her husband, David,have two young children.
