The Shores’ Culinary Arts Demo
Yes, everyone knows, its all about the food!
But sometimes, it’s about the beach too…Our senior community at The Shores knows this all too well. That’s why we’re presenting a cooking demonstration of a seafood classic, revered up and down the Jersey Shore and beyond…the one and only crab cake!
As anyone who has attempted to make a crab cake knows, the culinary debate over ingredients rages on in the mouths of good, crab-loving people across the United States.
- To breadcrumb or not to breadcrumb?
- Claw meat or body chunks?
- Is horseradish really necessary?
On Tuesday July 24, at 11:00am all these questions will finally be put to rest. On that date, The Shores’ Executive Chef, Art Vanderpool, will present the definitive recipe and art of making what is truly, a world class crab cake.
That is probably exciting enough, but it’s not even the best part. Afterward, everyone gets to eat the lumpy and succulent fruits of his labor!
Come join us! And bring a friend! It’s free for all seniors!
