John Phillip Sousa: The Man and His Music

The Mid-Atlantic Center for the arts will be presenting an accurate story of Sousa’s life from childhood to his appointment as Marine Band leader, and then off to form his own touring concert band that became the #1 attraction in world in the 1900’s. His unabashed patriotism, work ethic and displaying the highest standards in professional and personal conduct make him a remarkable historic figure well worth remembering.
