For the second year in a row volunteers from Pitman Manor will be hosting a car wash on Saturday, May 30th to raise funds for the UMH-NJ Fellowship Fund. “As a faith based organization, Pitman Manor is committed to its associates, volunteers and residents. The Fellowship Fund reflects the social consciousness of the United Methodist Church, with which we are affiliated, and of our mission, vision and values. Like a financial safety net, it sustains and supports our charitable mission,” said Pitman Manor Executive Director, James Clancy. The car wash will take place in the rear parking lot of Pitman Manor which is located at 535 North Oak Avenue in Pitmanfrom 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to the car wash which will cost $5, members of the community will be able to purchase a hot dog lunch for $4 which includes chips and a drink. “We know that Saturdays can be busy but why not stop by for a car wash and a quick lunch! It is an easy way to support a great cause while doing something for yourself and your trusty ride at the same time,” said Pam Piccone, who is organizing the fund raiser.
