Art and Film Discussion “The Lady in Number 6-Music Saved My Life”

This 35 minute film is about secrets to a long and happy life.  Alice Herz Sommer, who played piano beautifully, was caught up in the Nazi camp of Thereseinstadt, where for a time, people were spared execution if they gave performances in music, singing, and acting.  Alice was a woman of great wisdom and this is an uplifting film.  She lives to be 109 years old!  This program will be facilitated by Pauline Jonas, art consultant Deptford Township.
