Charles Harrison, a retired Rowan University professor, will be speaking on the history of the Garden State, including the history of Salem County and food production and processing in Southern New Jersey. He is the author of several books, including “Growing a Global Village: making history at Seabrook Farms”. His presentation will include how growers moved crops from farm to table.
