CHAP Accredits United Methodist Communities HomeWorks
Community Health Accreditation Partner, Inc., (CHAP) announced that United Methodist Communities HomeWorks (Newton and Ocean Grove, NJ locations) have been awarded CHAP Accreditation under the CHAP Homecare Service Standards of Excellence.
As of June 30, 2019, NJ regulation requires Health Care Services Firms, agencies providing home care, to be accredited. During this rigorous process, the accrediting body reviews policies, procedures, and client files. Additionally, CHAP conducts in-person interviews with clients in their homes to assure that they are receiving quality services. CHAP Accreditation demonstrates that United Methodist Communities HomeWorks meets the industry’s nationally recognized standards.
“We are exceedingly pleased and proud to achieve CHAP Accreditation, which recognizes our commitment to quality in-home services. As an organization which values continuous improvement, we look forward to a long association with CHAP,” stated Cindy Jacques, vice president of housing and community initiatives.
United Methodist Communities HomeWorks provides in-home personal care, companion care, live-in and case management services to clients and their families in Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex, Morris, Sussex, and Camden counties. CHAP is an independent, not for profit, accrediting body for community based health care organizations. CHAP’s purpose is to define and advance the highest standards of community based care.
