UMC is proud to announce the launch of its Vibrant Minds menu, their latest initiative designed to support brain health and promote a vibrant lifestyle for residents at our four full-service assisted living communities in New Jersey: Bristol Glen, Collingswood Manor, Pitman Manor and The Shores.
As recent studies suggest that cases of dementia will increase worldwide in the coming years, UMC is taking a proactive approach to resident wellness. Developed in partnership with Sodexo, a global leader in sustainable food and valued experiences, the Vibrant Minds program reflects our commitment to staying ahead of the curve — empowering residents with the latest in evidence-based nutrition and thoughtful innovation.
The program features dishes made with ingredients like leafy greens, berries, whole grains, and omega-3-rich fish, plus a colorful variety of vegetables, nuts, and seeds — all selected for their roles in supporting memory, attention, and overall mental acuity. Meals are designed to be both nutritious and enjoyable, reflecting the latest research in neuroprotective nutrition.
“At UMC, we are always innovating to provide our residents with opportunities for a vibrant lifestyle,” said Dave Rayha, Vice President of Operations at UMC. “Vibrant Minds reflects our belief that wellness is a journey — one that thrives on fresh ideas, evidence-based practices, and a deep respect for the individuality of every resident. We are excited to set a new standard for senior living, where every meal is an invitation to live life to the fullest.”
