UMC is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Tedora to Assistant Vice President of People and Culture. In this new role, Jennifer will provide strategic leadership and oversight for HR operations, advancing our people-centered approach and supporting the teams who make our mission possible every day.
Jennifer joined UMC in 2023 as Associate Resource Director at Bristol Glen, where she served for two years before being promoted to HR Operations Manager at the Home Office in June 2025. Throughout her career, Jennifer has built more than a decade of experience spanning employee relations, conflict resolution, training, and payroll operations, consistently bringing thoughtful strategy, operational excellence, and a commitment to people-first leadership.

Jennifer began her HR career in Casino Marketing and Management, where she first discovered her passion for people, strategy, and organizational culture. Earlier in her career as an English teacher, she served as both a union member and officer and later worked in management roles negotiating and administering union contracts. This distinctive background gives her valuable insight into the needs, challenges, and perspectives of both represented employees and operations management.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and has expressed deep pride in being part of UMC’s strong, mission-driven culture. Jennifer is committed to supporting and strengthening the teams who live out that mission each day.
