Tapestries Memory Care at Home
A Different and Better Alternative to Memory Care
Because of the unique challenges of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, United Methodist Communities HomeWorks developed a specialized dementia care program for our clients at home. We recognize that dementia is much more than memory impairment — it is “difficulty with thinking” which touches every aspect of our clients’ lives.
Person-Directed Practices
Those with dementia thrive best with routines. Preserving these very personal and deeply ingrained routines can help a client retain some control and honor the person-directed concepts. Our caregivers are trained to understand and facilitate these routines at the appropriate times. Safety is also a substantial part of caregiver training since those with dementia may be prone to wandering.
Life Enrichment
Knowledge of the clinical aspects of dementia allows our caregivers to better serve their clients and enrich their lives. Let us help you find an alternative that will enable you and your loved one to live life to the fullest. Call one of our teams below. We follow a simple process to get help to you as quickly as possible.
