Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

Collingswood Manor hosted its third Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre. This one took place in an English mansion in 1936. Guests were introduced to a variety of characters portrayed by our own associates, but which one killed Sir Roger Waterdown? Was it the mystery writer, Dame Ali played by receptionist, Pat Heenan; Randi the actress played by Kathy Lewis in Administration; socialite and heiress Flo, played by Lisa Sturgis in Housekeeping; city banker, Donny, played by Barbara Wrzeszcz of Marketing; Sir Roger’s confidential secretary, Era, played by Shelia Coleman of Dining Services; Sir Roger’s lawyer, Proper Bates, Esq., played by Executive Chef Joe Kratochwill; Dr. Mal, Sir Roger’s personal physician played by Administrator Mia Stahl; or Roger (Rog ) Astrid, Sir Roger’s long lost illigitimate son played by Mel De La Rosa of Maintenance. While listening to the play, guests had their choice of a very “British” meal – roast beef with Yorkshire pudding or Dover fish pie. As the story unfolded, clues were given and guests narrowed it down amongst the suspects. Resident, Ella Hoffnecht was the first to figure it out – “Rog” was the killer. A fun night with lots of laughs was had by all! Below the cast of characters and “Eiaguielle R. Aminmund (Era)”, played by Shelia Coleman of Dietary.
