Background and Mission

UMC's northern most campus, Bristol Glen, is a part of UMC. We’re a welcoming continuing care retirement community (CCRC) set on 74 acres of wooded landscape in Sussex County’s picturesque Skylands region. Supported by our faith-based, nonprofit mission, we are dedicated to serving older adults of all backgrounds with compassion, respect, and a commitment to living abundantly.

Our community provides a full continuum of care. This includes independent living, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation, long-term care, and skilled nursing. Residents can start with full independence and, when ready, smoothly transition to additional levels of support without leaving the campus they’ve come to call home.

Community and Lifestyle

Residents enjoy a vibrant, nature-friendly lifestyle. With walking paths, green gardens, and hiking trails across the gently rolling campus, the environment fosters wellness, social connection, and outdoor engagement.

Our services are person-focused and flexible: dining prepared by award-winning chefs, wellness programs, housekeeping, transportation, and cultural, spiritual, and educational events all contribute to daily fulfillment.

This is what sets Bristol Glen apart. It is more than a place to live. It is a place to thrive, supported by a caring team and surrounded by a strong sense of community. For over a century, we’ve strived to be a home where each individual is seen, valued, and supported through every stage of aging.
